Botagoz started her career at Deloitte in 2007 and worked in the audit department for 10 years.  

For 13 years Botagoz has been an auditor of the IFRS financial statements for consumer, transportation, hospitality, oil and gas and mining industries. Since 2019, Botagoz has held the position of BDO Qazaqstan’s Deputy Director for Audit.  

Botagoz has been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) since 2014 and the Kazakhstan Association of Professional Accountants.

 A Certified Auditor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
